Nourish & Equip, Malaysia

We are partnering with Destiny School Malaysia to provide food and stationery for their students!

Rice – these bags of rice will provide lunch for 180 refugee students, who come to school without having any breakfast or lunch. Full stomachs and nutritious food will help these students concentrate during the school day. With your help we will provide 25 bags of rice (that’s 250kg of rice!). For just $15, you can fund a 10kg bag.

Stationery - we are also providing stationary packs for teachers and their classes! These packs include: textbooks, exercise books, whiteboard markers, pencils, cardboard/paper supplies, and stamps. With your help we can make this happen! Each pack costs $50 and will make a huge difference in these classrooms.

Student Sponsorship Program

In 2024 we launched our Student Sponsorship Program! We work with local partners on the ground who are committed to helping students access education and get the additional assistance they need. The program helps the students achieve educational objectives and alleviate the pressure of poverty they’ve been walking in.

Throughout the sponsorship period, Schools of Light provides support to both sponsors and students. We monitor the progress of sponsored students, ensure funds are used appropriately for educational expenses and facilitate communication between sponsors and students.

For $30 a month, you can help a young person access the education and support they need to light up their future!
